Magnolia Festival

Honoring the heritage of Durant, also known as the “City of Magnolias,” the annual Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma features games and festivities perfect for a fun-filled family weekend. Held annually since 1997, the Magnolia Festival takes place the weekend following Memorial Day each year, the 2023 Festival will be held June 1-3, at Choctaw Event Center - 3702 Choctaw Rd, Durant, OK 74701.

Outside of the Event Center, ride the Ferris wheel and enjoy a wide array of carnival rides, games, yummy fair food, and a stunning fireworks display on opening night. Head inside the Event Center to peruse the craft and food booths, exhibitor displays, and the Texoma Arts Association Art Show & Sale. The Event Center will also include around-the-clock, free, family-friendly entertainment.

The Magnolia Festival also hosts a variety of other activities happening throughout the community including the Magnolia Farmers Market and the Magnolia 5K & Fun Run in Downtown Durant, Veterans' Reception, and more. Be sure not to miss the live music at the Choctaw Casino on Friday and Saturday nights of the festival.

As headquarters of the Choctaw Nation, the Magnolia Festival will also showcase the history and folklore of their heritage with Choctaw dancers and a Choctaw Princess Pageant.

With a wide variety of events, entertainment, activities, food, and exhibitions, the Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma is a guaranteed fun-filled weekend for visitors of all ages.
